6.3.11. Removal and TNVD installation

After installation it is necessary to pump over a power supply system, without allowing TNVD to work without fuel (dry).

Models with the M51 engine

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative wire from the rechargeable battery.
  2. Remove protection of a case of the engine.
  3. Remove the fan and its casing (see the Head of the Cooling system of the engine, heating, ventilation and conditioning).
  4. Remove the inlet pipeline (see the Engine).
  1. Disconnect a hose (1) of discharge of oil, remove the drain pipeline (2) and disconnect a fuel-supply line (4).

Replace oil discharge hoses.

  1. By means of a special cutting key disconnect distributive pipelines from nozzles and from TNVD. Muffle open openings of nozzles and TNVD.

  1. Block the engine in position of the piston of the 1st cylinder in VMT of the end of a step of compression, having installed for this purpose adaptation No. 11 2 300. To make sure of correctness of the VMT installation uncover a maslozalivny mouth: cam of the camshaft has to show up.
  1. Remove the cap-type nut of a natyazhitel of a gear belt.

At installation check and if necessary replace a sealing ring.


  1. Give the central nut and screw on its place adaptation No. 13 5 120 without the pushing-out screw.
  1. Remove the channel of air supply of an obduv of the generator.
  1. Separate the socket on TNVD.
  1. Remove a dustproof cap and give a nut.
  1. Turn out bolts on TNVD.

At installation pay attention to installation of pro-masonry washers.

  1. Rolling the pushing-out screw in adaptation No. 13 5 120, separate TNVD from an asterisk.

Leave screwed adaptation No. 13 5 120 before the subsequent TNVD installation, otherwise the asterisk will fall, and the engine should be disassembled. Before the TNVD installation the pushing-out screw of adaptation No. 13 5 120 should be turned out completely.


  1. Turn TNVD clockwise so that the arm could be carried out by an engine support arm. Remove TNVD.

At installation replace a sealing ring of a flange of the pump.

  1. Installation is made upside-down.
  1. Depending on the TNVD support at installation under a landing opening in a support it is necessary to establish a pro-masonry ring. If landing diameter (2) is equal to 68 mm, remove a pro-masonry ring (1).
  1. If TNVD is removed for the purpose of replacement, rearrange assembly elements on the new pump.

Models with the M57 engine

Close the generator from hit of working liquids on it. The provision of TNVD concerning GRM does not make impact on its functioning. After a detachment of pressure head pipelines surely muffle openings in TNVD.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the inlet pipeline (see the Head Dvigatel).
  2. Lower OZh from a cooling system radiator (see the Head Nastroyki and routine maintenance of the car).
  1. Turn out bolts (1), disconnect water hoses from a returnable tube (2) and remove it.
  1. Separate the socket (1) from TNVD pressure regulator, weaken collars (3) and disconnect the bringing and returnable fuel hoses (2).

At installation replace collars.


  1. Separate the socket (2) glow plugs. Give cap nuts (1) of fastening of the pipeline of the pump by means of special adaptation No. 13 5 020 and remove the pipeline.

At installation pay attention to correctness of installation of the rubber-metal hinge (3).


  1. Give nuts of fastening of TNVD and take off a generator drive belt from a roller of a natyazhitel (see the Head Dvigatel).
  1. Turn out a carving stopper.

At installation replace a sealing ring.

  1. Give the nut of fastening of an asterisk of the TNVD drive located under a carving stopper and screw adaptation No. 13 5 192 on its place.
  1. Install adaptation No. 13 5 191 without the pushing-out bolt on TNVD asterisk then screw the pushing-out bolt (1) at first to a dense prileganiye, and then so that TNVD will separate from an asterisk.
  1. Remove TNVD.

For fixing of an asterisk it is necessary to leave adaptation No. 13 5 190 on the car and not to take out at all.

  1. Installation is made upside-down. For the TNVD installation of high pressure turn out the pushing-out screw. Clear the interfaced surfaces and replace laying of TNVD.
  2. After installation for removal of air from a power supply system include ignition approximately for 1 minute. During this time the toplivopodkachivayushchy pump is activated, and the power supply system is filled with the fuel which is forcing out air.

Models with the M67 engine

If the established hoses of nadduvochny air are not fat-free also damp, it can lead to failure of the supercharger. After a detachment of pressure head pipelines surely muffle openings in TNVD. The provision of TNVD concerning GRM does not make impact on its functioning.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the top covers of the engine.
  1. Weaken a collar (1) and pull out a pressure head tube (2) from a pressure head hose.
  1. Remove a radiator casing (see the Head of the Cooling system of the engine, heating, ventilation and conditioning).
  2. Lower cooling liquid from an engine cooling system radiator (see the Head of the Cooling system of the engine, heating, ventilation and conditioning).
  1. Open clamps (1) of a water hose (2) and remove it.
  1. Give a cap nut (1) and slightly raise the pressure head pipeline (2).

  1. Weaken collars (1) and disconnect fuel hoses (2).

At installation replace collars of fastening of hoses.


  1. Turn out bolts of fastening (1) TNVD and separate the cut-off valve socket from TNVD. Take aside a wire (2) and remove TNVD (3).
  1. Installation is made upside-down. Replace the damaged sealing ring of TNVD.
